Workshop: Flower Frog

Open for all levels of experience and beginners encouraged .

Class will be May 21, 2022 from 10am to noon.

Come ready to get your hands in clay. Choose from white or speckled stoneware clay.

Spend 2 hours in the studio and leave with the satisfaction of making items you will love.

Make 2 flower frogs to turn any mason jar into a vase. Learn to make slabs, cut and texture clay, cut holes, make and attach coils, size to fit after clay shrinkage , and finally finish the piece for smooth rims and clean lines. Items will be left with me to dry carefully and bisque fire. I will add iron wash (optional) and glaze your items with studio clear or black glaze and they will be ready for pickup within 3 weeks from the class date.

Clay, equipment, firing and glazing are all included in the price of this workshop.

Make functional pieces of pottery that you can use every day or as a gift for someone special. Pieces will be dishwasher safe.

Entry to the studio is via a standard size door with a 5 inch step.
